Is money the barrieer that keeps people from trying to summit Mount Everest? Or is it the fear of death?

Not a chance in the world. I have climbed small mountains, little more than hills, really, and that was more than enough challenge for me. They could pay me large amounts of money and I wouldn't attempt it.
