How long now until College football playoffs?

For a long time now, they have talked about having college football playoffs. However, I do not foresee any college football playoffs in the near future. They have a bowl system, which is steeped in tradition and, as Randy mentions, there are monetary implications. So, figure out a way for more money to be made and you might be able to convince some people, until then, c'est la vie !

I don't believe their will be college football playoffs for the big schools. It is all a matter of money and the NCAA makes plenty with the current system. They don't care that the National Football Champions are a joke every year. With no college football playoffs, the champion don't really prove they are the best team.
