Teams that make it into the playoffs, and especially past the first round in the playoffs, simply can't make it that far if they only have one good player. Even if one player is better than any of the others on the team, the rest of the team has to be good enough to make up for it.
We saw that with the Celtics when they lost Kevin Garnett. The rest of the team stepped up to make up for the loss. And they were able to make it through the first round.
The reason the Rockets are able to win is because the rest of the team steps up. We saw that with Aaron Brooks. That's how a team gets into the playoffs, and it's how they keep winning.
