I did the indoor skydiving this when I was in high school (more than 10 years ago). As I recall it was very difficult. You get all dressed up a "flight" suit with group of other people and pile into a vertical wind tunnel. The middle of the floor is a net that sits just above a huge fan blowing straight up. One by one an instructor helps you hover (belly down) over the fan while you try to control your side to side movement by making small adjustments in your hand and foot positions. As I said, it is very difficult. There was only one person in our "class" who was able to get more than 5 feet into the air.
Overall, it was more fun to watch than attempt. The "pros" were able to hover 20 feet or so in the air and spin around as though they were actually falling through the air.
This may sound like a negative review, but I did enjoy the overall experience. If you have the opportunity, you should give it a try.

Have you ever tried Indoor Skydiving? Do you want to?
I really want to try it but sadly the closest facility is like 9 hours away. I think it looks like a lot of fun. Anyone done this before?
By the way, I made a page for it that has an awesome video about it if you want to check it out.

I really DO want to! I'm in a ironic situation, I live really close to a Skydiving place, it takes me only 1 hour at most to go there. But I haven't done it because I don't know how to prepare for it. And mostly because I heard that it's not cheap. Around $400 dollars per person, I think.

I would love to do it one of these days! I was actually looking into it a few months ago. I found out it costs about $40 per person for only a few minutes which is a bummer, but the average REAL skydive is about $200 and only lasts for 45 seconds to a minute so I think you'd be getting your monies worth doing it indoors.

I have tried the indoor sky diving adventure and I would definitely recommend it. It’s a great beginning step if your thinking about doing the real thing. The place I did it at is called SkyAdventure, in Orlando and the people there were extremely nice, friendly, helpful and supportive. You watch a short video clip before you go into the wind tunnel that shows you what you can expect, the signals if you need help, there is a instructor in the wind tunnel that will hold onto you the entire time if you feel more comfortable that way. You get to pick the time limit of how long you want to stay in there, if your brave you can even do flips and things in the wind tunnel that’s pretty cool.
