Do you think that Tony Romo dumping Jessica Simpson will affect his play on the field?

If you do or don't let me know why you think that. Also what do you think about Tony Romo breaking up with her the night before her birthday. Does that change the way you think or feel about him?

Okay - let me start by saying I'm a Green Bay fan. However, as a person who lives in Dallas, believe me, this whole thing about Jessica and Tony has frankly become a huge joke. Before a game once last year, some guy actually rented a banner plane and flew over Texas Stadium - the flag read Good Luck Tony, Love Jessica. I saw it with my own eyes. It was hilarious.

The fact that she went to a few games and they lost the games she was attending has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with anything. What about all of the other guys who's wives and kids attend EVERY game? When the Cowboys loose, is that their fault too? The idea is ridiculous.

I think Tony is an awesome guy. I think Jessica is extremely hot. I love them both and think they are both extremely talented. I'm sad they broke up, but whether or not this will effect the Cowboys season is irrelevant. It's like saying, Steve, you got married last year - will the planes for your Company still fly on schedule? The two are completely unassociated!
The fact that they got rid of Terrell Owens will help them win games as they got rid of a troublemaker and a trash talker, but because a guy broke up with his girlfriend won't have anything to do with anything.
Except Tony getting a new hot girlfriend!! Oh - and maybe joining the PGA tour next year.

Sweet.

I will give you that he made kind of a douche-y move by breaking up with her before her birthday, but hey, if it's over, it's over. No need to fake celebrate - that would make it worse!

I have never found this woman attractive although she has a nice figure in that pic. I think Tony Romo has enough going for him to where he can meet better looking and smarter women, he seems like he is a nice enough guy.

No, why should it?? No, doesn't matter to me when he broke up with her. They broke up once before. Not as if he can't find other woman that are better looking and more intelligent than she is.

Doesn't sound like it will from reports I've been reading. Considering one the roots of their breakup is Simpson's online gambling addiction and that "it's been a long time coming", Jessica Simpson seems like she'll be the one affected moreso than Tony Romo.

I can't say it much better than KerryK did. If their relationship is "off" and "on", then he's used to it. If he's a pro, he will play his best game. She may be a nice girl, but she seems a bit too much into clothes and shoes, for my taste... just a thought ...

I don't think that they were ever together and I don't think that they broke up. I think that their agents were an item and that their agents broke up.

I think we will see it affect Tony negatively, I mean without his personal life in order it will certainly be a distraction. He was living with Jessica after all.

All due respect bro, I disagree - By the time camp starts, and then the season, he'll be over it and have his head (or helmet) on straight.
Even as a Packers fan (who lives in Dallas) I think this will be a really good season for the Boy's! I'll be watching - and if they do poorly, or rather Tony performs poorly, you can tell me I told you so!

Yes it will affect him positively i think. Now he can be clear minded and live and play for himself. But i dont think the Cowboys will be good, so it will appear that he is not playing well.

I dont think this will affect Tony Romo at all, I like Tony Romo and Jason W. but as far as the Cowboys go my second favorite team is usually whoever the Cowboys are playing. I think Tony Romo is going to be fine, Jessica Simpson I am not so sure about.

Maybe. As a huge Cowboys fan, I never thought Jessica was bad luck, but now with her out of the picture, Tony will hopefully focus solely on his playing for a little while. Jessica was too much of a distraction, in my opinion. I could not care less about who Tony dates, but the last thing he needs are things to shift his focus off his game.
