NFL games are rarely, if ever, postponed due to field conditions, like rain or snow. Unlike baseball, football players all have padding and helmets that somewhat protect them from the elements. Plus, football is better in the rain!
However, if safety is an issue, games are usually briefly put on hold or moved to another field. I know several games that have been stalled due to lightning conditions, and during hurricane season in Florida, games are often moved to the opposing team's field.

Do football games ever get called for weather like baseball games?
Seems to be that football should be more likely to cancel a game what with the freezing temperatures than baseball, but I have never heard of it. Is it just because they are that much harder to reschedule? A TV issue?
