Chicago White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen said Matt Thornton deserves a spot on the All-Star team. Do you agree?

No, but I can see Ozzie's point. The rules of MLB are that each team has to send at least one player to the All-Star team. Given how poorly the rest of the team is playing right now, at least Thornton (33 strikeouts vs 26 baserunners in 23 innings) would likely not play in the game itself, or would come in for just one left-handed batter.

Jermaine Dye is having a good season, but not an All-Star season for a right fielder. But Mark Buehrle (6-2, 2.91 ERA, less than 10 baserunners per 9 innings) is really the person who should go to the All-Star game, especially since it is is in his hometown of St. Louis.
