Need help figuring out year of grandpa's USC autographed football.

My grandpa has a football signed by an old USC Trojan team. I have not intention of selling this ball but would like the information to get to know more about my grandpa's life. I am trying to figure out what year it was from. A lot of the autographs are really hard to read but some of them I can make out like Harold Steel #71 and Ken Evan others I can only make out the first name such as Dan M. #9, Richard #92, Dale #54, Rodney #17. Anyone know what year these guys played?

According to the USC alumni site, there was a Harold Steele that played in 1975-1976.
