Are the New York Giants in the playoffs as of Jan. 4?

Yes, they were seeded high enough that hey had a "bye" this weekend, so they didn't play a game...but they are "in" the playoffs and will play next weekend. Their opponent will be determined by this weekend's games.

If the Eagles beat the Vikings, they will visit Giants Stadium for an NFC Divisional Playoff Game on Jan. 11. But if the Vikings defeat Philadelphia, the Giants will host the Cardinals.
