Do you think Erin Andrews peephole video will affect her career? Positively? Negatively?

Will this surreptitious nude video of her changing in her hotel room make any difference in her career?

I don't think it will hurt her in the least. It's not as if she was a nobody in the business and this is the only way anyone would hear of her. Anyone who is a sports fan and watches ESPN knows she's a talented sideline reporter, does a great job with baseball, as well as college basketball and football and NHL hockey in the past. The person who violated her privacy with that tape should be put to jail for quite a while. People can't even get undressed in their own hotel room without some creep doing something like that. What's next? We have to cover the holes on the door, check for cameras people might have planted, look under the beds for people that might be hiding who somehow got into our room? It's disgraceful.

These days sex videos/nude videos, etc. just seem to boost popularity and open more doors than close.

Look at Kim Kardashian for one example.

And what about the movie Bruno, they play on this concept to make a joke of how easy it is to get famous by having a sex video

In an ideal world, it shouldn't. However, there are bound to be people out there saying it was somehow her fault, and thus taking her less seriously. Never mind the rampant illogic of it being her fault that someone took a peephole video of her without her knowledge. In their minds, the crime is being naked, even behind closed doors and just to change clothes.

I don't think it will hurt her or help her.In the short run she will probably pick up a few viewers from the publicity and lose a few intolerant people that think its somehow her fault. In the long run I think she will probably remain about the same, she is in a niche market and sports fans will continue to watch and those that are not won't. If she decides to break out and do something else, then the publicity might help.
