The book is described as:
Arcana Coelestia -The heavenly arcana contained in the Holy Scripture or Word of the Lord unfolded, beginning with the book of Genesis
together with wonderful things seen in the World of Spirits and in the heaven of angels.
It was apparently the base of Swedenborg's theology and, according to his biography, he would fall into a trance state and receive teachings from spirits which became the basis of some of his works.
If you want to read the book and decide for yourself, I have included a link to the full text on Sacred Texts, alongside a biography of Swedenborg.
I hope this helps a little.
