sorry if getting annoying, payout question

hi, I guess I'm just stressed because it's my first payout, it's not even that much, but still no payout and it's noon. Does anyone know what time of day they usually do this to ease my anxiety? sorry to be annoying about this.
Tip for best answer: M$1.00

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Mahalo is on the west coast. 12pm E.S.T. is only 9am P.S.T.

So, Mahalo staff is really just starting their day.

If you don't see anything appear by the end of business today (8pm E.S.T. / 5pm P.S.T) I would e-mail contact@mahalo.com.

But really, don't worry. I've been receiving a payout every month since I started contributing here in January and haven't had a problem. Payouts have been late a couple of times due to technical problems, but I have always received my payout before the start of the next month. I'm not saying that you'll have to wait until next month, just saying that's the worst that's ever happened to me.

Again, just relaying my personal experience here... a Mahalo staff member may be able to help you better. Contact@mahalo.com really is the place to email if you don't see anything by the end of the day.

I have experienced many glitches in the payment process, but they always do get it done in the end. Sometimes a month late admittedly.

That might be very frustrating if you were esp counting on having the money on a certain date like the asker, but at least it does arrive eventually.

Hu... well there you go. I didn't know about the 7 day rule.

I'm glad that I answered this question so that I could learn that. Thanks Susan!

Per the Mahalo policy, inquiries about pay should not be made until after the 22nd of the month. The section dealing with payment delays states:

"If you still have a problem contact Lon and he will address the issue. We sincerely ask that you don't make any complaints if your payment doesn't arrive on the 15th of the month, we ask for patience and for you to wait at least 7 additional business days before inquiring about missed payments."

So you'll need to wait a week and contact lon@mahalo.com....but I'm sure your payment will be there before then!

Just a quick question to clarify, was the amount of your payout over M$40? I noticed you have only received about M$29 in tips thus far on the site.

Curious. If your balance wasn't over M$40 you shouldn't even be able to enter a payment request.

Mind you I've got two months worth coming (M$190) and no sign of that arriving yet either.

@bunny I LOVE the photo, thanks for the $2, that was kind, I'm sure it'll get recycled around mahalo!

it was about 130 before the difference between mahalo and reg. and paypal fees and whatever else, so it's not alot, but it's alot to me. I did get most of it from barnraising contests. I moved so haven't been active lately, kind of wanted to see how the payout worked and all, and I thought I'd jump back in by the end of this week and maybe make a little for holiday money. and I like making the pages. I also have promised to fulfill a wish over at wishuponahero.org based on the thought that I had this money coming in

I have seen @pawsalmighty participating in the Barnraising events and contests the MD earned from that is not reflected in the profile totals, I think. ;)

@pawsalmighty...
I just tipped you M$2- since I see that you've asked this question twice since the confusion with the 15th payout.
Don't worry.
I too am awaiting a payout today, but you have to keep in mind that they're not only on 'California' time, but they also have to catch a few waves before surfing in the office...

I don't think that M$'s from direct questions count towards your total M$'s made sum, do they?

Don't worry about it. I'm still waiting on a payment for this month too. It seems like there is a delay for a lot of people. Mahalo is a good company and they always pay what is owed even if it is a few days late.
