Someone explain to me why people pay for Expression Engine when they can get WordPress for free? I mean, is EE that amazing?
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Some people like buying software from a company so they have somebody to give them support. This is why people buy MS Word instead of use OpenOffice for free (among other reasons).
One of the selling points is that many of the things you need plugins for in Wordpress are built in to expressionengine (image galleries, membership)
Also forums are integrated so you have a uniform look between your blog and your forums.
That being said, I don't think it's worth it. I use Wordpress and am very happy with it. I wouldn't pay for expressionengine, and I wouldn't even use the free version.
