Some Christians believe that the B.P. Oil Disaster is fulfillment of the sounding of the second trumpet in Revelations...
Revelation 8:8–11. “The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea. A third of the sea became blood, a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed … A third of the waters became wormwood, and many died from the water, because it was made bitter.”
The sounding of the trumpets is to call people to repent and return to following the word of God. What are your feelings? Do you think this is a sign of the end-times? Why or why not?

Oh, bollocks - they said the same thing about Sadam Hussein (they claimed he was the anti-christ in a blue hat) and again when the Twin Towers were hit.
If you try hard enough you can find signs in ANYTHING that the end of times is upon us - and yet the world keeps on turning.
Don't get me wrong, I'm the first to champion the movement AGAINST BP and make them pay for what they've done and the irrepairable damage they've caused to a critical ecosystem, bu the end of times is a bit of a stretch, even for me.
