Yesterday I asked a question about 'the joys of using the internet and software'
Here are more details about what could be a pleasurable activities when it comes to internet and software.
Watching a compilation going on and hitting 'success! press any key'
Rapidly flowing numbers like a number wheel
The feeling that your computer is scrubbed everyday by using CCleaner, watching CCleaner progress, the more the files that get deleted, the more the better.
Deleting unwanted files in a batch or one by one as the deleted files scroll into oblivion.
Watching the bars and waves in windows media player visualization mode go up and down, except that that tiny horizontal bar at the top of each vertical bar is hindering the joy. The bars need also to be wider at the base, and allow colour changes (in the lines of multi colored bars). Who has more such 'interesting, engaging, exciting, pleasurable, exhilerating' findings about the internet and software usage?
More: Deleting a lot of spam emails by clicking on 'delete all spam' and watch the whole thing disappear.
More: A display that says Loading... and the Loading disappears and produces replacement text in its place.
More: Using an AJAXified web application on the lines of Gmail.
More: The joys of using keyboard shortcuts that would otherwise take several mouse clicks.
More: Winning a typeracer session.
More: The joys of the command line when using capital lettered commands (as in case of Foxbase, Dbase III+, MS DOS, etc.)
