1 - Create a .iso image of your MS Office disc;
2 - Copy the .iso you created onto a pendrive that can be transferred to your laptop;
3 - Download/install a virtual disc manager, like DAEMON Tools Lite;
4 - Import your .iso from the pendrive you selected to a folder on your laptop;
5 - Mount the .iso created from your MS Office disc to a virtual drive.
6 - Run setup from your pretend CD/DVD.

In order to do this you will need a computer (use a friends if needed) with a cd-rom and an empty usb flashdrive of 1gb to be safe, can use smaller though if old version of MS office.. (2003 is approx 350mb, Office 2007 enterprise is 558 mb) If you don't have a flashdrive, you can do this with a SD card if both machines have one, but flashdrives are cheap and plentiful...
Basically we are going to copy and paste all the files from CD onto usb drive.
1 Put the CD in the computer. It might try to start and install it, but cancel the installatiion. If 2007, hit the red x in the corner to stop the install process, other versions hit cancel.
2 Insert the flashdrive into an open usb slot.
3 right click on the CD rom, click explore. Should be looking at a bunch of files. Hit CTRL-A then CRTL-C (this is windows shortcut keys for select all, and copy)
4. click the back key (or somehow open the flashdrive), Click CTRL-V which will paste all the files you copied onto the flashdrive.
5. depending on speed of computer, could take 1-3 minutes or more.
Thats it. You've put the Office XP cd on your flashdrive.
When you insert the flashdrive into your computer, you'll have to navigate to find the setup file as it will not auto start. With office 2007 its in the main folder, and called Setup.exe
