Dragon Naturally Speaking - PC vs MAC

I use Dragon Naturally Speaking on the PC. I love it.
I am attempting to abandon Microsoft and am interested in buying the MAC version.

Unfortunately, I have found that MAC versions of PC software tend to be pale reflections of the PC versions. Has any one used Dragon naturally Speaking in both versions?

How do they compare?

Personal experience only. I am not looking for "reviews".

i have both a mac and pc and i use Dragon speak on both, once you train dragon speak on the mac it is just as great as the pc version, but you have to remember that it will take time to train like the pc version so that is annoying

I don't know about Dragon on PC, but MacDictate is a fantastic program. I have a pretty crappy headset and it still works perfectly. Although it can have issues with non-American accents. My girlfriend is Jamaican, and it has lots of trouble with her. There are add-on packs for UK and Australian English though.

The latest episode of the SufBits MacRevewCast podcast http://www.macreviewcast.com/

has David Sparks doing a review of Mac Speech Dictate, which uses the Naturally Speaking engine. He has used both the Mac and Windows versions and compares them, including some new features in the latest version of the Mac software which had previously been present only in the Windows version.

I'm not sure what is going on there, I download them from iTunes. It's worth a try to subscribe in iTunes, that will give you the latest episode, which is the one with MacSpeech Dictate, you can always unsubscribe. Alternatively, you could try downloading that episode from the web site directly.
