If you are a student or staff at a college and can provide evidence of that you can get it for USD65.00 at the following site. It seems to be ship only though, not download.

Everywhere else I looked seem to be the same USD99 (before mail in rebate). Only academic versions seem to be cheaper. If you are not connected to any college, maybe someone at your local college can order it for you. Colleges can buy for resale to their students.

Cheapest place to get Adobe Photoshop Elements?
I need version 7 or 8. This needs to be 'new' no ebay auctions or re-selling of used software. I would prefer a downloadable copy (with serial number) as I live in Canada and shipping across the border is not fun.
Coupon codes or promos are fine, but mail in rebates are not. I'm buying 5 copies so if there is a volume discount that's great.
I want to keep this 100% legal - no shady sites or deals. I need a download of the software and a valid serial number that adobe recognizes as being legitimate.
My point of comparison is Elements 8 from Adobe.com which is $99 US (before mail in rebate)

If you are a College or University student, check out the student pricing at your school's bookstore. You may be able to pick up the whole Adobe Suite for the street price of Elements. Usually the student versions are full-functioning versions of the software.

i know you said 100% legit so i would check out staples or office max... If you want to go the other route with things and you find it is to expensive. download bittorent.com and then go to isohunt.com and search photoshop there will be one with that says serial in the tital and its pretty easy to install... mike !
