I think it would depend on my husband and his record with me otherwise, and his overall personhood. If he'd already been doing things that were really a mark of a non-stellar person, I'd have to think hard about it.
On the other hand, if this was an anomaly on an otherwise good character, it would be easier.
My reason for saying this is that my mom took my dad back. They'd had a pretty good marriage, and he was a very honest person (had to be as a small businessman in a small town), until he was in a wreck that gave him a brain injury that didn't affect his mind, but did affect his personality. For about 6 years he had affairs; had a terrible temper and a few other problems. Gradually it got better, and it's hard to believe now he was ever like that.
But at one point my mom was ready to pack up and leave, but she got him to go to a psychiatrist. The doctor told them both that this kind of personality change was common with his type of brain injury. So she stayed, even though at that point he'd been seen with at least 3 different women. And now they have a really great marriage.
Had he been shady before the wreck, or if they'd been having relationship problems, she'd have left, she's told me.
