Why was the story of Joe Arpaio's father deserting him after he got his green card removed from Joe's biography?

Wasn't Joe Arpaio an Anchor Baby?

He's not an anchor baby because his parents immigrated from Italy legally.

I think he's doing an awesome job. He's doing his job as a sheriff - he's putting criminals in jail.

I'd like to see proof that Joe's parents came here legally. I suspect that claiming so is merely wishful thinking. My question had nothing to do with Joe's performance as Maricopa County sheriff.
