Knowing what you want and knowing how to get it is not the same thing as intelligence. Some people want some very stupid things, and are oh so good at getting them.
If a number of people are saying that you are "stupid" or that what you want is "stupid", it is time for you to take a hard look at what you want and why you want it.
Look around you, how did similar desires turn out for others? Did getting what they wanted help them in the long run?
