Fernando Pessoa (Fernando António Nogueira Pessoa) was a Portuguese poet, born in Lisbon, that went under several names, personalities and styles (each one of them according to a personality). Heteronyms:
Alberto Caeiro
Ricardo Reis (Saramago wrote a novel about this one)

He didn't write much and didn't have much sex or friends in his life, as far as I've read. He barely talked to anyone. But, wait... That's biographical antiacademic data.
