I think, everybody needs money. There is money left for the relatives in the dead person's will, there will be so many relatives to attend the funeral. People are just opportunists. I would like to tell you this:

Yes, I have had to deal with relatives like this. Unless the will directly relates to them, I wouldn't bother mentioning it. Furthermore, if they actually ask about it simply let them know that you don't wish to discuss it. A good way to do this while deflecting animosity, " I'm sorry, but right now I'm grieving and can't discuss this. It's just too much right now". If they persist, you may have to be a little more firm. You don't have to tolerate this behavior, you should however try to avoid a scene or anything upsetting in front of the rest of the family. If you have recently lost someone, I am truly sorry. Good luck.
