There is no point other than to fit in with your other emo friends.

It's all about expression and if emo is your mode of expression then go with it and have fun! We all have our own individual fashion sense in one way or another. Some are looked down upon because they stray from the "norm" but I believe everyone has a right to express themselves and long as it does not cause harm to others.

I suppose the point to get all emo'd up on a Saturday night would be to feel good about how you look and when you think you look good on the outside then you feel good on the inside and that is what life is all about. :)
