Compassion is a profound human emotion prompted by the pain of others.Its a desire to free others from their suffering. Compassion can be cultivated by formal meditation. This can help a person to be more empathetic to other people mental states.

Compassion is what moves you to help others without expecting anything in return. Compassion is what makes you be nice to the people that have hurt you, when they are in need. Compassion is a beautiful feeling that helps make this world a better place.
