I loved - LOVED being 5-6. No responsibilities, everything was taken care of, all tv shows were hilarious, candy could be eaten without fear of cavities, diabetes, weightgain. School was constant playtime. For some reason, also on my favorites of the time, being able to say "This many" and hold up fingers when asked for my age. There's just something about that. But I digress.

I have heard each successive decade of your life is more popular than the last, when looking back on it. So a 70 year old will say their 70s were their favorite part, 80 year old will say 80s.

My personal least favorite would probably be high school. 17ish. Tons of responsibility and homework, constantly being pressured about what you're doing with your life, the worry of the future, no reputation and few memories to save you when you're feeling down or being doubted. The big bad world was swooping down on me fast and I was clueless what to do.

Now, almost 30 (I know, not a lot of experience) I wouldn't be surprised if my older years were better and there are new revisions to the worst/best. But all I can go on is what I've done.

My favorite was early 20's. I hadn't had children yet, was living as a nanny in Germany with the love of my life, and had no worries.

My least favorite was 18. Old enough to be legally responsible and kicked out fo the old rents house, but too young to drink and smoke. (In Alaska legal age for smoking is 19 not 18, though I quit smoking shortly before my 19th birthday lol)
