There's a Christian song I hear every so often by TobyMac that features the lyrics "I don't wanna gain the whole world and lose my soul."
It got me thinking. The fact is, for just about everyone, gaining the whole world simply isn't an option whether you like it or not. That should put at least some of the concern to rest. ;)
