It's the most annoying response to me. I feel dismissed when people say it to me... Personally and professionally I'm all about good communication and this is used to shut down any kind of communication.

I think that I do not like the word because, I feel that when someone says "Whatever!" they do not care about the topic of the conversation. When I hear adults saying "Whatever!" I feel they are immature and personally I think they do not have manners.

I do not like the word "Whatever!" I get upset when I tell something to someone and they answer "Whatever!" especially if the person using the word is a teenager. My sons are not allowed to use that word. My nephews cannot use it when they stay over. I think that I do not like the word because, I feel that when someone says "Whatever!" they do not care about the topic of the conversation. When I hear adults saying "Whatever!" I feel they are immature and personally I think they do not have manners.
