I like that it's sort of a relatively liberal and cosmopolitan beacon in the heart of the South. When the weather is nice, it can be beautiful and the High Museum, along with their universities are some of the best in the country.

I'm personally not a fan of the city overall, though. Summers are brutally hot and humid, there's no escape to that heat, just one of the worst anywhere. It's a car-dominated city with bad traffic and near-useless public transportation. Not much for tourist attractions, Coca Cola and CNN are more brand marketing than informative tours, and downtown has a similar problem as other cities, where everyone flees after work.
