I would move to Saratoga Springs, New York. Three big reasons for this one.

1. I love horse-racing. I live near Del Mar, California right now and am close to the race track. I have nice easy access to gambling and I love it. Saratoga Springs has one of the most beautiful race tracks I know of.

2. Family, my wife's family lives there and we'd really like to live closer to them.

3. Weather. I miss weather. In San Diego, even right now in the harsh cold of winter, our lows are almost always over 40. And this is cold for us. Usually the lowest we get here is about 50 and the highest we get is about 80, 85. It's boring. I miss the snow. I want my kids to know the snow, and not be one of those weird southern californian kids that have never seen real snow.

I go to school in Tennessee. I'd LOVE to live in Austin, TX because it caters to the young adult lifestyle I'm looking for (not immature partying/drinking). It is culture rich and its independent film scene is heavenly. It's also close to my and SO's family who all live in TX as well. It's simply the perfect blend of affordable living, never-bored atmosphere, and manageable weather. In fact, it's high on my list for post-grad.

Boy, that's a tough one, because there are so many wonderful places I've been.

I think it would have to be St. Augustine, Florida. It's usually skipped by hurricanes; the weather is beautiful; it's historical and cultural, and I know there would be no trouble getting family to come visit!

I would like to live in Ashville, North Carolina... for a spell at least. It has low cost of living and when combined with the outdoor playground vibe is pretty excellent for a woman from Maine, who lives in Colorado. For a major metro area, I would pick Portland Oregon. 31. Denver. Female.

In the states, I'd like to live in Brunswick, Maine. Land of lobster season, blueberry season, other seafood items, and cheap living. Lobster sells off the pier there for less than $3/lb :)

If I were to go abroad, it would be neat to try living in Vladivostok.

Currently I'm 22 and live in the Los Angeles area in California.

I would live in the greater Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area, far enough out of town to be beyond suburban but close enough to take advantage of the wonderful cosmopolitan nature of the region. Proximity to art and culture as well as outdoor beauty make this an ideal place to live (and the cold cold winters keep the weak-willed people away).

FWIW: I'm a white guy, late 30s, who grew up in MN and has since lived in Hungary, NC and MO.

San Francisco. This one of the most expensive cities in America, if not THE most expensive. If I thought I could afford it and find a job quickly there, I would love to move there and live for a few years at least. It's magical.

It would have to be Anchorage, Alaska. I don't know anyplace else in the U.S. that combines the raw beauty of nature with a relaxed and varied cultural life. I have visited before and the mountains, lakes, wildlife, ocean and scenic vistas almost leave me speechless. The only thing that has kept me from moving to Anchorage has been finding the right job. Presently I live in the Portland, OR area and love it. As far as the rest of the questions go... you shouldn't ask a pale lady her age...
