What ads are they talking about?
A bill is headed to the President that would allow greater regulations on the tobacco company and have them produce less ads. But I'm wondering what ads have tobacco companies been running lately? From where I live(Idaho) I haven't seen a single ad run by any tobacco company in years.

True I haven't seen any tobacco advertising in recent times in the UK.
Thing is though a lot of the advertising has gone to 3rd world countries which tends to be less regulated and is a growth market for the tobacco companies.
There has been some good strides in the west over the last 20 years I just hope this goes worldwide and we can rid the world of tobacco and all the trouble it brings to people's health.

I think the primary target was "store displays". You know the bright and colorful display at the checkout counter for snuff for instance.
