Independce brings resposibility and this were we Indians are lagging .How come Indian are well mannered and excel in other countries because there you have strict laws and no corruption .
Back home you break all laws and get away because you have corrupt people and we ourselves are to blame because we want things to be done in our favur fast and without delay .
What ever the short comings we still have a working democracy .Its really a priviledge to be citizen of free India . yet there are several countries where you cannot protest , where you cannot vote or elect , where you dont have independent media , where minorities live in fear . What more can be a shining example of freedom or equality where a Sikh becomes a Prime minister , Muslim a president , a dalit Parliament speaker or a chief minister ,Christian a party president .This is true India we love our freedom .
Yes we are proud to be an Indian. Jai Hind
