If money were to be replaced by a "what you are worth" system, which is what I think money should mean, how could it be managed and by whom?

Money has replaced the barter system, the reciprocal gift system, and the "just do what you're told" system for almost all uses and has been successful for thousands of years.

I see no likelihood or demand for a non-money system. It is extremely flexible and suited to complex societies.

Perhaps if you explained what you meant a bit more, well maybe a lot more, I could comment further.

Ye maybe I didnt think this through properly, Ill ponder it a while and resubmit the question in better detail, Ill try to get my head round what I actually meant at the time. (Got a house guest at the moment and they just wont leave me alone to think, so Im not making a lot of sense right now, even to myself LOL)
