If asked, what would you propose be the solution to our
RSS
The simple answer is: Don't have a war in the first place.
But, with all due respect, your "details" are specious, if not overly emotionally charged, probably based solely on, presumably, one or two media reports or news articles you have seen: To the best of my knowledge, very few soldiers returning from post-WWII service have received a parade, and most returning soldiers I know of were just glad to be home and didn't want the extra attention (they are fully aware that the current wars and entrenchments are unpopular); the military offers post-trauma assistance to those currently serving, as well as to those who are honorably discharged; I am not aware of any growing homeless trend among returning soldiers.
As such, please don't denigrate service men and women by turning them into instant derelicts as soon as they touch home ground.

If asked, what would you propose be the solution to our
countrys lack of follow up with our military after service?
For example, they are sent home from war with possibly a hometown parade.
Then left to fend for themselves. Some have post traumatic stress, cant find
jobs, in fact some are homeless wandering the streets and in shelters. I am
just curious if anyone has any good ideas thank you

I am an army brat.....years ago they did not offer services of such for returning soldiers. I take offense at you suggesting I denigrate our service men and women........not at all. I respect and admire all service personnal. I come from a line of military service. We do NOT take care of our military as we should.........yes its better than it was in the past but for the sacrifices they make, we should be doing much better. Because you are not aware of things.......................does not make it so..... but thanks for you interesting input.
