I honestly believe they did exisist.
There are so many species that have become extinct. It is deff possible for them to have been here at some point in time.I doubt they spit fire but the dragon itself seems plausable.

There could be parrallel universes where they exist. There could be other planets in deep space that are home to aliens which are dragons. The point I am trying to make is that we just don't know therefore we can not deny thier existence.
Even fire breathing doesn't seem impossible. I mean we have eels that can shock you electrically. Fish that spit water at prey or produce thier own light (lets not forget about fireflies). Snakes and incests produce poisions some of which can spit thier poisions.
Its a huge "maybe" but there have always been things previously thought impossible or non-existent that just turn up out of no where.

A non-fire breathing dragon sounds dinosaur-ish, do you think there are dinosaurs that represent dragons well?

I would say that all dinosaurs look dragon like in some ways. Yes,I believe that dragons were here more so after the dinosaur though.

I think there is too much we don't know about to consider anything impossible. Sure there are things that are improbable but there is little we can write off as impossible. There could be parrallel universes where they exist. There could be other planets in deep space that are home to aliens which are dragons. The point I am trying to make is that we just don't know therefore we can not deny thier existence.
