I would think it would matter more if you acted the part than if you looked the part. If you had a birth defect that caused you to have horns; and worked as farmer where you used a pitchfork would the reverend have the same problem?

As a devout christian, is it suitable for me to dress this way?
For several years now, I have enjoyed dressing up as the lord Beelzebub. My horns and trident amuse people tremendously. However, I do feel that this conflicts with my religious belief. My local reverend is most upset about it, particularly when I wear it to church.
