Answered Question

Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
Are there photos on the internet of John Howard Griffin, author of "Black Like Me," disguised as a black man?
I'm reading this book, Black Like Me. I keep wondering what the author looked like during this time. Everyone in the book is so convinced he is black, yet I would expect his Dutch ancestry and characteristically white, middle-class accent would give him away, but he seems to wander in and out of a segregated society with some Kleenex and dyes. It seems he is never suspected, which I find remarkable.
