Socialism/Communism has never worked for any country in history. What makes Obama think he can make it work in America?

That statement seems to be uninformed. Barack Obama does not think that.
Nowhere does President Obama or any of his proposed policies suggest a socialist/communist government here in the United States.
To say so would be equivalent to saying that *anyone* who puts up a wall of any sort is communist because China has a wall as well.
