Both of mine were in early May, however I'm in the UK so this may vary for what you are after :-)

Yeah, in Canada they are also in May..at least mine was..and we call it a "Formal" not a "Prom"

I haven't seen any statistics, but where I live (New Mexico) most of the proms are in March/April.
