However you have answered your own question, taxes build infrastructure. Infrastructure supports business, families and growth. The surplus also allows for education support through university, if I am not mistaken, which obviously benefits business men and women. As well as all other fields of study including heath care which is also covered fully by the government for all citizens of Sweden.
