I love accents. Australian's accent are pretty cool. The US accent seems so normal, due to a lot of TV. The UK accent are quite grand.. French? funny and strangely arousing.. Italian? funny and pretty ka-ris-ma-tic..
Just my two cents...
You should come check out our Malaysian accents.. pretty weird and funny too. All mixed up and all.. =P

I love accents, it really helps show how each of us are different.
I personally have a small french accent ( born and raised in the US but I speak french at home so it is my maternal language), and well its a way people identify me.
An accent is also useful, when I am talking to someone and they have a french or spanish or latino accent, I speak french or spanish to them!

What do you think of spoken accents around the world?
Are there accents you have a really hard time understanding?
Can you speak in multiple accents? Are you multi-lingual as well, or not?
Do you think more people are adopting a "global accent", or as some people call it, the "television accent"? If so, why is this? Because of the internet, Hollywood and more global communicating.... or...?
I think accents from different cultures are exciting and fascinating. The diversity is interesting and so melodic. It's also interesting how some languages don't use certain syllables or sounds at all.

The Australian accent has caused me a couple understanding problems in the past, but I got used to it. I love accents, it really helps show how each of us are different.
