Some say your favorite color has a lot to do with your personality...why is that?

Are there any websites that explain why that is?
Is there scientific proof of this?

I think this doesn't just base on just colors alone but also some things we like. If you study psychology, there are many other stuffs to about us where they could base our personality. For instance, our favorite number could tell us something about us, or even our favorite food.

I think it's like how you'd like to dress your self. If you like wearing black, then they'd say you're the mysterious type. If you opt for the formal or corporate look, then you're business minded. I think it's the same as for the colors we like. If a person likes pink, then probably that person is too girlish. If a person wants red then that person is sophisticated.

This simply indicates that our choices in life shows what we really are inside. :)
