i hope, and think that if we could make it without anymore bigger war scenarios to 2100 we will have left some heavy cultural- and mor important religiuos borders (don't mean to give Religion up, but learn not only to respect, but "love" each oather) behind us, wich will give us the flexibility to share power intelligent, and in the end equally.... Otherwise we are going to kill each oather sooner or later...
I think I've gotten a little enthusiastic^^ but there are some other powerfull nations and bondings:
the EU (European Union) is finally shaping up... its constantly getting bigger ans its has lots of money
China is still big and dindn't suffer as much from the crises (not sure, gonna look up)
Africa is going to explode if WE as "civilized" "1."world don't interact-who are they "going to be with" in 90 years?
( I'm not a native english, please correct me if you think it's necessary)

A man named George Santayana said "those who do not learn from the past are condemned to repeat it". What was meant by this statement was of course all the bad things that have happened must be remembered so as not to repeat them.
I contend that what we must not forget of the past are all the good things that got us to where we are today and build on them, for if we do not, the United States will indeed not advance. I fear there are so many examples of where we have changed that course in history and it's direction is not a good one.

Hope this helps.

The only way that this can happen is if the United States goes back to the future. We all must realize the value of what was to begin fixing the problems we face today. A man named George Santayana said "those who do not learn from the past are condemned to repeat it". What was meant by this statement was of course all the bad things that have happened must be remembered so as not to repeat them.

1 Euro - 10,22 yuan
1 Brit. Pound - 11.49 yuan
(wolframalpha.com search: 1 Chinese yuan)
the yuan really suffered through this year.
I totally agree with you jbrooks0127. We need to face the future while keeping the past in mind. Past shows us that nations, no matter how there borders are buildt, can't ignore each oather - or demonstrate power by showing up "brute force"- we know the reactions on that..
Do you want the US to be the most powerfull nation in the year 2100?
