We all have things that knock us down from time to time, but the life changers are the one's that get us to rise up above everything else, and have one more go. Once we are strong again, our "column" is as strong as ever!

I, too, am a stalagmite, but for a different reason. Having something happen in your life to completely knock you all the way down, only to have to rebuild your life again makes perfect sense. This is a "from the ground up" way of looking at it. We all have things that knock us down from time to time, but the life changers are the one's that get us to rise up above everything else, and have one more go. Once we are strong again, our "column" is as strong as ever!
