This is very much a matter of taste, a matter of your needs, expectations and preference. Also, where most of your friends hang out may also be a consideration.
My personal favorite is Facebook, which is much less clattered, and just suits me better.
I strongly recommend you to play around with both services, get a feeling on which you like most. Then decide.

I say Facebook is better. My reason is that most of my friends have an account in Facebook. So it all depends on what you like or the purpose of the page.

Difficult to compare historically as Facebook really was a listing and MySpace more of a personal webpage. Now they have both morphed, Facebook with its News streams, MySpace with a deeper music focus.

The game is far from over. Facebook have a BIG plan they are executing and we really have not given Jonathon Miller at News Limited enough time to turn MySpace around... To be Honest, Twitter will probably CRUSH them both.

Facebook to me is just more fun and less immature in the look to me. I have family on facebook and I can't see my parents having a my space account to keep in touch with.

I think Myspace have been a piece of ... forever, and that it's dying already. Facebook is better of those 2 for sure.
