Damon Weaver is a persistent and uniquely determined young boy, if a bit strange. And his persistence and penchant for grabbing attention landed him the interview.
Weaver caught the President's attention after scoring a rare child interview with Vice President Biden. But you don't assume Biden talked to the boy because of his race, right? Nah.
Race just doesn't have anything to do with it. As usual.

No. Of course not. That would be ridiculous. Damon Weaver is a persistent and uniquely determined young boy, if a bit strange. And his persistence and penchant for grabbing attention landed him the interview.

Are we starting with the race thing again?

Sir, I do not approve of your answer, as does everyone else.
