What is the legal voting age in the US?
Does it vary by state for state elections?
How do you feel about the statement "If a person is old enough to go to war, they should be able to vote?"
That is, if they get a GED at age 16, and enlist in the military, should they be able to vote?

Age 18 is the voting age and it's a pretty good age for such a thing. I was not aware that kids could get their GED and go to war before age 18. My father was in WWII and lied about his age to get in at 17. He made it, but his dad found out and ratted him out. Then he reenlisted at age 18. In any case, I think what is more incredible is that a young man can enlist in the miltary at age 18, go to war, shoot people, get shot at himself, but can't legally drink until age 21??? Mind you, I don't feel the drinking age should be lowered, but the age in which a young man can be sent to war should be raised until they grow up a little more and have a little more level-head about themselves.

It does not vary by state. Rather, it is determined by the 26th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution at 18. I think that this is quite reasonable.
