I think the standard for a LONG time has been 60+ hours. Actually, the standard should be... work until you get the job done and don't burn yourself out.

Mahalo is adding a tip to all questions that don't offer a tip.
Is the 40 hr per week, 5 day a week, 8 hours a day work standard outdated??
Does this old standard affect our economy and could this be part of a cause for global warming?

I doubt that's a standard. It's talked about alot, but I have yet to have a job or know anyone (outside of a union) to have that kind of job. I think the standard for a LONG time has been 60+ hours. Actually, the standard should be... work until you get the job done and don't burn yourself out.
