No, but I have looked into it and I think it would be fun. I would also like to know if anyone had done this before and what it was like?

hi, a real answer. phew! have you seen the flood of "1 question" "1 person" questions coming in? first about shopping, now about tv?
http://www.habitat.org is their website. Former President Jimmy Carter is quite active. They are supposed to be good, if their management is good. I am currently working on building, and having others help, a house for a young couple. lot of work. also do donating on my own to other small projects, such as purchasing windows, doors, fencing, paint... (nothing organized by habitat for humanity)
