A couple of things about your question:
I don't think the UFC has "become" more violent. Any rule changes have seemed to make the UFC "less" violent. The UFC is an almost-no-holds-barred fight. The object is to submit or knock your opponent out with whatever you can. The UFC DOES have some limits to that (ie, no knees/kicks to the head when your opponent is on a knee(s) or down, no fingers to the face). But, when you allow wins through medical stoppages (cuts bleeding into eyes), then you're going to get blood.
So, the UFC is no more or less violent...
Now, is it too violent for TV?
My opinion... nope.
I certainly think the UFC is NOT appropriate for children. Whenever I watch it (and I'm a UFC fan), I make sure my kids are not around. If they DO come into the room, then I pause it (hopefully not at a place as pictured in the question).
There are plenty of other shows that are violent/sexy on TV. Typically, UFC fights are on late at night after 10pm. I think that is reasonable...
Finally... I don't want the government determining what I can and cannot do or what others can/cannot do. If we were to say "It's too violent.", then the FCC would have to create rules (which they have) and take away that choice from all of us. I'm all for more choice and less government involvement.

It may a little different and it was a fight to the death but there are still referees present so there is an element of safety. not all of the fights end up like the picture above.
I do think that it is rather brutal but there are some crazy things going on in this world that we don't all like
so i don't think it has gone to far yet but it is a little brutal at worst

Do you think UFC has become to violent for TV?
I was recently flipping through the channels and came across UFC andso I decided to watch it, being a man and ex martial arts and boxing guy.
I come across a scene much like that picture. Has that become too much?
I dont care what your opinion is, the one who best DEFENDS in a UNIQUE way their answer gets the best answer. +tips (dont see anyone really tipping though).

I know that the sport may look bloody and like an old school gladiator competition but if people want to train to become tanks and fight then let them. It may a little different and it was a fight to the death but there are still referees present so there is an element of safety. not all of the fights end up like the picture above.

ufc is inhuman sport, combatant training themselves in all kinds of deadliest form of martial arts and body build their bodies like steel . just to fight another fellow human for a trophy and money is craziest sport. We can let animals do this to each other , dog fight, cockfights, spider fights, but not human. by looking at the photos you'll see what i mean
